So I am planning to port my number from Rogers to Koodo. Thing is, I am currently on a family plan (2 lines) with Rogers, so I was wondering if there will be any problems with the port if I am just porting 1 number over. Will the other number be cancelled? Will I be paying 2 bills for the next month? Should I give Rogers the 30-day notice?

The porting should just cancel your number. The other one should be fine

If It's a family plan I'd think It would change things since It's a family plan and It's tied together Is It not?
Your overall plan might be messed up If It Is indeed a family plan linked like sharing minutes and what not.. You MIGHT have to pay a fee as If you were cancelling your contract I would think If you are on one.
If all Is well I'd think you would have to pay another bill 1 month after porting because of the 30 day notice thing I think..
