Hi,

I read that $25 dollars credit for Google Play is available only for US. For non US countries need to use VPN to update info with US ZIP code and phone.

Is it true?

Make sure you don't bypass the Google wallet setup when you first start up the tablet. I had to do a factory reset because I skipped that step the first time. Once you enter a credit card and receive the credit, you can remove the card and still retain the credit.

Only one credit per account unfortunately. That said, if you buy an app, you can install it on both tablets and only pay once.

You do not need to add the credit card on initial set-up. It even expressly says so that you can add it later. All you need to do is add a credit card next time you are purchasing/downloading something from the Google Play store. That's what I did.

As it were, somebody else also confirmed this. What I was worried about was when I go and make the first purchase, it would take it from my credit card and then when that transaction completes, I get the $25 credit. I much prefer to have to credit in hand first. Right now, I removed my credit card from my account because I am not too keen on having it on file all the time. When I use up my $25 credit, I will offer up the card again then.
