What is going on with the hideous design of Ferrari in this decade? Jezzus

the F12 and the FF makes my eyes bleed.

The last good looking fcar was the 355. The 360, 430, 458 only made evolutionary sense, but they weren't beautiful to look at.

But the flagship f12 and the ff oh gwad is just ugly with those lines it looks like a large mouth bass.

i blame the california for starting this

I agree.

The 355 was also the last good sounding entry level Ferrari.

The 458 sounds like a Honda S2000 with a full Supersprint exhaust.

I'm a huge fan of the 458, but I don't mind the FF12's frnt. The rear is hideous though.

Look's a bit better in non-cg.

But I'm sure if I saw one in real life, I'd probably love it.

btw, anyone notices how all three models (new cali on the way so it dosent count) all share the similar head and rear lights? And probably more in the cabin and the internal mechanics.

i sense ferrari is trying to cut down costs, by making generic cars.

They do not share the same lamps - they may look the same, but they aren't. Want to see generic, look at the new Lexus GS, ES and LS - they all look identical...brand identity taken way too far.

The new Ferrari's look awesome, the F12 looks downright menacing. However my favourite of all time will remain the F40:

i like the rims in the pic...the centered triple exhaust tips on the 458 look nice.

yea the f12 is truly an enthusiast car. A bleak statement of function over form.

By what messed up logic in what messed up universe does a Ferrari get classified as 'ugly'? No Ferrari has ever been ugly. Sorry.

My favourite is also the 430 but my favourite is probably the F50. I just don't like the boxy F40 by comparison.

shock value =/= good looking.

All Ferraris are cool, because of their performance and rarity. But some are very ugly.

^ did ferrari take their design cue from a mazda3?

That is an acquired taste; the Pontiac Aztek on the other hand is hands down, unequivocally, the most ugly automobile ever produced. It made the Times, for goodness sakes!

Im going to have to whole heartily disagree with you OP. I love the classic look of the Ferraris, but never like the 360. The 430 was better looking than the 360 IMO. And the 599 give me a semi boner its so beautiful. That being said, Aston Martins are still better looking. FACT

Could be an age thing though.

To each his own I guess. I personally think the Ferrari Enzo is hands down the ugliest car to step foot on Earth.

Ugliest car on earth? That's pushing it ... there are many other unfortunate vehicles that made it on the road that will take the ugly crown over an Enzo any day.

Not the ugliest car ever, but it's one of the ugliest Ferraris for sure. It does make up for it though with how badass and fast (for it's time) it is.

Never really been a fan of the Enzo look either, but still it is an amazing car. Not really a fan of the california, but I do believe it is likely one of the cheapest ferraris made (compete with some Mercedes SL for example). I loved the 360, as well as the 430. Sometimes I think the 430 rear end was too big, but still beautiful. Especially when you put some wheels on the 430 I think it is a hot car. I love the 458, but I agree with others when they say it might be a tad too futuristic looking, and not as much classic italian ferrari.

That being said, I love the new Aventadors! I think I would take that over the new 458 Italias. I love how they have 3 pipes though!
