Hi all :)
Sorry for this very basic/stupid question for most of u: Just put together a very basic PC based on a cheap MSI mobo (MSI SKT.1155 INTEL H61 M.ATX), Intel CPU (Intel Celeron G530 2.40 GHz Processor) and 4GB of RAM (Patriot Memory Extreme Performance Gamer 2 PG34G16). I was so pleased that everything assembled so easily and it ***WORKED*** the first time I turned it on (life is usually not so simple :)).

Linux runs on it 100%.

Now, I want to put a ***LEGITIMATE*** Windows of some kind on it. Please help me decide:

1) Where to buy it
2) What version and medium to buy
3) Will it install without a problem on my little PC.

Many, many thanks :)

Cheers.

www.bewawa.com

they are i think $79.99 for home premium. I think...that's the price i got it for around 2-3 years ago. it's an OEM copy.
try comparing between NCIX.ca, newegg.ca, canadacomputers, infonec, ahh thats all the places i can think of.

as for #3. i'm not sure. maybe another RFDer can help you with that.

As long as you have enough harddrive space it should install fine. Windows 7 may not run the greatest on your PC, but should be okay. I would suggest just getting the "Home" edition should be sufficient enough for you. Either from any of those sites listed above or from any retail store. (Walmart, Futureshop, Staples, Bestbuy. Whichever works for you.
