Bought this

exactly 2 years ago, for $200. Just upgraded to a 27" monitor and have no use for the 22". What can I expect to get for it, on ebay/craigslist/kijiji? No dead pixels, no scratches, no finger prints (haven't touched it once).
And also, if I do take the ebay route, what would be a reasonable standard shipping rate I should charge? (I'm located in canada, and will likely only sell to north america..)

i think around $50-70 is reasonable for this monitor. Its an extremely cheap monitor (Acer) and isnt even 1920x1080. My uncle has the same monitor and it looks terrible compared to my 4 year old samsung.

Plus OP has not specified how much time the monitor has been used for. For instance, 2 years is the lifespan generally, for a monitor that's used 40hrs week. Afterwards, the screen is too dim. I would not pay $50 for a second hand monitor that's been used heavily.

good point. It was used an average of 25-30 hours a week, over that span

With respect, what you paid for it is no longer relevant. It may have been worth $200 because that's what you were willing to pay. Now it's worth whatever the next person is willing to pay :) I assume what you're really asking is what price you should put in the ad? The answer is $100 if you want to be like everyone else and less if you want some interest.

Someone might want it. Isn't it hard to find WSXGA+ on 23"? Plus 16:10! The brand "acer" might scare some people off though

just look up what current used prices are for similar spec monitors in your area on kijiji.
When people look up items on kijiji, they're generally not informed of what 'market price' is for a particular item. They go by the prices in their search.
I sold a really good condition 19" LCD a few months ago for $50 within 24hrs of listing. But that's because everyone else was listing at $60+ and there was one other at $50 but it was in pretty bad condition.
Personally, I did not think anyone would pay $50 for a used 19" LCD that was manufactured in 2006, but I think the fact that I had lowest price made it seem like an 'amazing' deal.
And for the past few months, I've noticed core2duo complete computers were selling for exactly the same as just the cpu/mobo/ram combo.
I sold 2 nearly identical spec'd computers. 1 I insisted on keeping everything as a complete system, took me over a month to sell for $100. the 2nd one was only cpu/mobo/ram which sold for $90 with same day multiple offers.

Those who buy second hand electronic products, I heard from them they pay maximum 45% of current value of the product. So Not more than $90.
