Hi, hoping to start a useful thread to help get better search results when using www.google.ca or www.google.com.
Anyways, I'll start with a first tip and hopefully others will add useful tips.
I recently discovered the use of "site: ", when you use this, your results returned from google will remain from that site only, it's pretty cool. It is very useful when the site's search is not very good.
Try it out with, I put futureshop as an example, let say we were looking for Canon products (searching through their site search is pretty good though):
go to www.google.ca, type in the search box "site:www.futureshop.ca Canon", notice all the results will be returned from www.futureshop.ca
