Hello guys, I am buying 2008 Hyundai Veracruz and dealer is declinning to take my Chrysler Sebring touring edition 2004; so, what is the best place to get rid of it?
The market is going rate at $3,000, but I'm only looking for $1,000, and car is running perfectly without problem and have new sets of tires too.
Will used car lots buy my car at wholesale price? Who can buy at reasonable price?

Put it on Kijiji/Craigslist AS-IS, $2000 asking price. Should sell pretty quickly, especially with new tires.
I think there is a Ford (or GM?) dealer in Mississauga that buys almost all used cars even if you don't buy theirs. I hear it all the time on the radio.\

Try Kijiji, if you don't get any biters, take it to auction.

If you are looking for only $1000 may be worth donation and get a receipt for it instead.

Hello guys, it seems the deal was too god for dealer so he called me back and finalized the deal, and paid $700 for my car; This is for a Veracruz GLS with AWD and 100k km.
Overall I paid Cash $15,300 + $2,100 for 5 year full coverage Warranty; so the total came out to $17,400 after trade in;

Kinda surprised a 2004 car would be considered a beater.

^ This. I have a 2001 beater sebring myself, has rod knock. Garbage beater >:(. Been sitting on the driveway looking for who will give me the most $$ for scrap value lol. Sebrings and intrepids were plagued with problems with the 2.7L V6.

Ha, I'm in the same boat. Other ads of my car are going for two or three times what I'm asking ($1200), but mine has fairly minor cosmetic stuff. I figured I was pricing it low to sell quick, but I think I priced it so low that people assume it's a junker that doesn't run.
I'm contemplating deleting everything and putting it up for $2000 with safety and cert, but I don't know if its worth the hassle. I already have my new car but want to keep the plates on this one so I can have it for test drives. Maybe I'm being naive, but I know back in high school a cheap working car was a big deal to find.
Has anyone tried buying the kijiji top ads?
