View Full Version : Yahoo! Canada Mail massively down right now?

I can login, but it takes forever and then either nothing loads or else it kicks me back out.
Anyone else?

American Yahoo Mail (mail.yahoo.com) is also down (my account is an American one).
By my observations, it's been quite a while since the last outage like this, but they usually resolve themselves within an hour.

I tried a few minutes ago and Thunderbird wouldn't connect, and could open the site. Now seems to work?

I had the same problem, but now it's back up.
Still a tad slow for me, but at least it's loading.

They may still be having problems with their mail server. I haven't received any new emails since it came back up, and I know people have been emailing me stuff.

Emails are starting to trickle in slowly. Stuff that was sent 2.5-3 hours ago.
I guess they're working their way through the backlog.

works fine for me, just that i need to accept their privacy terms every time i log on.

Earlier today, every time I tried logging in, it would try to make me switch to the "New" Yahoo! Mail.
Even after I accepted, it would make me do it again.
Now that things are (relatively) back to normal, I'm still in the "old" Yahoo! Mail.

Ever since I found out gmail could automatically receive all the emails from my hotmail account I never touched the Windows Live ID login ever again.

I even have Google apps setup as my email server on all my domains. It's beautiful.
