How do you "shut them off" in IE?

On several websites that I visited today, these hyperlinks appeared.
In this thread- http://forums.redflagdeals.com/glenfiddich-cask-dreams-contest-exp-july-31-12-a-1151339/#post15122332 -

the word class is a hyperlink.

Return flight (economy class) from major international airport closest to winner's residence ("Departure Point") to Dufftown City, Scotland
Return ground transportation between the airport and hotel in Dufftown City, Scotland

I did a survey from GlobalTestMarket today and the words IPhone, School, course and other were hyperlinks.

Is there a way to stop this?

In this post the words "a survey" and "IPhone" are hyperlinks.
When I put my cursor over "a survey" I get a pop up window that says "Take a survey from EasyInLine". When I put the cursor over "IPhone" I get a window for "BidCactus.com".

I don't have this issue in Firefox.

Do you have an add-on in IE that's doing this?

Go to: tools --> manage add-ons

Disable things that look "suspicious". Restart browser and try again.

It's usually something with google, ask, or bing.

It's adware.
