I somehow misplaced my laptop charger a few months back and with school starting I need to find one ASAP (sharing one with the fiance won't be fun).

The model of my laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L755 and the model for the plug is pa3714e. I found some on Amazon but the reviews are mixed as to whether or not it was actually a genuine Toshiba product (picky and would love for mine to be).

Anyone recommend a certain charger? A link would be appreciated. I'm not in a huge rush to get one as classes only start in a month.

Thank you.

eBay ... do a search for the charger (worldwide) with delivery to Canada ... you will find very cheap prices ... they are all OEM >..

Thanks. Shortly after posting this I did a search and found one from a seller with good feedback and placed the order. Now to wait and make sure it is, in fact, original as advertised or that it works.

For the price now I just order this universal power adapter - http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=45261&vpn=RP090-S19AJ1-US&manufacture=COOLERMASTER

It's 90watts instead of the regular 60watts most laptop chargers have so it should be more reliable IMO. If you think about it most laptops will use lets say 50-55watts thats close to 100% load on the power adapter & running anything that high puts more load/stress on the device. However now if you are running a 90watts psu and only pulling 50-55watts thats much less load and the device will run cooler have much less load/stress on it and should be more reliable.

Anyway that's just my opinion, better to go above the requirements just like a desktop Power Supply.
