Just got an email, same promotion as last year (or was it the year before?). Not sure if it's by invite only; I did the same promotion last time and got my bonus after 6 months.

Just called ING and spoke with a rep. She said this offer is only valid for those who received the email invite. After putting me on hold forever she said she would make an exception. However.....and here's the catch.....the $$ have to come from an external bank into the ASP account. So you have to bank somewhere else and deposit into the ASP account. I only deal with ING for everything, so I did not qualify! Scoundrels! Just thought I'd share the info as, even if you didnt get the email invite, you may be able to still get the deal if you call and ask. :(

Does anyone know if I have to set up an investment ASP or if I can do a normal ASP and get the bonus? I've never had an ASP of any kind.

I assume since I got the email, as long as you don't currently have an ASP, you're OK, as I know a lot of people in this thread, including myself, have had received the $25 bonus before for setting up an ASP.

Has anyone received the $25 bonus?

My first ASP was on Aug 7, 2012, and sixth ASP was on Jan 7, 2013. the 7th ASP will be on Feb 7, just in case ING requires ASP to be active for "at least 6 months," not just 6 ASP's.
