I hate websites that dont show up the shipping fees unless you give them credit card info .

Ha! Got tricked, I thought it was a deal on the actual Raspberry Pi itself, not simply on the "empty" enclosure ;)

WHat is this?

It's a piece of plastic case. used to house a Raspberry Pi. Raspberry Pi is a small barebones "computer" that is powerful enough to output 1080p and runs Linux/Android being sold for $35.

I have a Raspberry Pi, and right now it is homeless... I've still to find a suitable case for it, but I'll probably look for a soap box or some better looking plastic case from Dollarama or Dollar Tree...

BTW, I bought a Powermat Dual 1850 charger (http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?CatIds=&webid=908948&affixedcode=WW) on clearance from Staples for $5 and is currently using it with the Raspberry and plugged it to my portable TV so I can watch XBMC videos anywhere...

Man.. I don't have the Raspberry Pi even yet, but if I did, I wouldn't put it in this thing.

This is hideous

I think the deal was meant to be ordered with a rasp and both come out with the same shipping.

a much better alternative (imo) would be adafruit's case:

you know an alternative maybe a strip of velcro. You stick a small piece on the back of the pi a strip stuck on the back of your tv and everthing is out of site anyway.

I would never put this junk in my living room. It doesn't do justice to the Raspberry Pi. There are many better options on eBay, I particularly like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Raspberry-Pi-Case-for-Raspberry-Pi-Model-B-/110929058393?pt=US_Computer_Cases&hash=item19d3e31a59#ht_3442wt_1344

^^ That's hilarious, it's worth 3 times the Pi itself!

I ordered mine from modmypi.com. They are currently shipping July's back orders this week and next week.
Came up to about 15$ CDN with tax and shipping.
