I am currently subscribed to Teksavvy's cable internet and use voip.ms. My uncle is on a bundle deal with Bell. He doesn't like Bell and he wants to steer clear of voip. So I suggested TSI phone and dsl internet to him.

I call up TSI and am informed that they have temporarily stopped selling home phone service because they have subscribed more customers than bell has allowed them to. There is no ETA from TSI on this either. So no home phone service from them. As such, there will be no DSL from them either unless I also get dryloop which would be a waste of money.

Any recommendations out there? Are there any providers out there who don't have substantial activation fees?

Reading comprehension fail? Uncle don't want VOIP. Not many POTS resellers. Maybe try Primus if they still do sell POTS. First I've heard of Teksavvy stop-selling on POTS. I have them for that and DSL together. Too bad no bundled discount :(
