i got a blackberry bold 9700 as a hand me down, pretty neat phone, kind of ghetto i must admit. i took a look at the app world, holy ***** it is complete crap hahahaha. now it is time to be serious, is there a way to jail break the blackberry so i can get some apps? (if i used some vocab incorrectly forgive me, i am new to smartphones).
question 2, what apps would you recommend?

So I see that you didn't get an Android phone as an alternative to the iPhone 4S? How are you enjoying the phone so far?
Off topic question, I take it you won't be getting an Android phone in the near future or?

You can unlock it for free.
There's a link on RFD and the people send you the code for free
I did it for my Bold 9900.

BBs have free apps. You can try OTAs but cracked / pirated apps on BB is pretty damn hard.
