Looking for a 10" tablet and wondering which one offers best battery life along with the most features. Lets say right now price is not an issue. Should I consider the Asus T700 (pad infinity)? Acer Icona? I haven't stayed in touch with the tablet market.

They must be running android and preferably ICS as it should be by now.

I think you should prefer Acer Icona. I think it has best battery life.

Best bang for the buck is the nexus 7. It is priced well, has current hardware, and will be well supported by google for rom updates. Having gone from froyo to gingerbread to ics, to jellybean, I have to say that any device that does not come natively with jb is a huge compromise. It would be like having a 3rd generation i7 and running windows ME on it.

It is somewhat unfair to compare 7 inch to 10 inch tablets on the basis of value at this time. The android tablet market is still maturing and just like flat panel tvs of years past, the price point is at the smaller sets as sets grew in size. Getting the 10 inch tablet will invariably increase price a whole bunch or compromise the hardware somewhere else to keep price down. That said, I think 7 inch and 10 inch tablets are not so interchangeable. For true portability, it has to be 7 inch, maybe even smaller. For productivity, the extra screen area will be a must.
