Anyone recently buy a 2012 Acura MDX Tech and willing to share experience and final price and recommendation on dealer/salesperson? I'm not in Toronto but willing to travel to GTA if the price is right. I'm wondering if I could get better now or wait until September to see if the deals get better.

Get the invoice price and start from there

Ideally you want to wait till the end of this year, where the MDX is going to be redesigned for 2014, dealers are going to want to clear off their lots and you might find a better deal then.
If you cant wait that long, yea get an invoice report and see what you can do

The only issue with waiting is there'll be limited stock. Currently my Acura dealer whom i've purchased 4 cars from is offering $9K off since we pay cash for our cars. They said there's a $6K incentive from corp (for cash purchase only) + $3K they can give. That should give you a good idea of the price range you can shoot for.

My wife just bought a 2012 g37x locally in Ottawa but could have saved $1400 by going to Markham. My wife decided since we would be going to the dealer for service, it would be better to buy locally and build a relationship with the dealer. Myself I would go to Toronto to get a better deal. I bought my 05 Alitma in Toronto and saved a good amount. Oh well, I guess we now can go to the dealer for service on both vehicles.
As for pricing I recommend trying Carsaver.ca to get a starting point price. Once you get the best price don't forget to try out Florin (http://www.easycardiscount.com) to try to get a better price.
