I got the inspiration from JohnB to do this thread. For those people that are not familar with BBS RS wheels.

The Stock BBS RS001 are 15 X 7 ET 25 with a 4X100 bolt pattern.

OEM outer shell is 1.0 wide and OEM inner barel is 5.5 wide.

My corrado is 5 X100 so only way to make them fit is to drill 4 more holes in the RS001, so it is sort of like those universal type mag wheels but the bbs will have 8 holes. BTW the BBS RS is a forged instar and not cast like them cheapie rims that will crack.

OEM stock ET is 25 and will definitely clear the brakes. Now to measure to see what will fit under the rear arches.

my version of universal wheels, 8 holes

FYI for dual bolt patterns such as 4 X 100 + X100 or 4 X 114.3 + 5 X 114.3 will look similar to these.

Nice wheels.

The Civic needs to be a bit lower though to make it really pop.

any lower the inner wheel arch lip needs to be cut out or rolled.

How long does it take to post a post with that many pictures in that sequential order?

Don't lower the car. I had a car not lowered and now I have another car that is lowered. Guess which car needs a jack to lift up the car each time I wanna remove the front bumper?

Are those 17"? 17 looks fine on a 6th gen civic but I would say 16" is the better balance since I had 17"

Guess which one is less likely to get towed and stolen.

i think it'll look better if you reverse mount the faces so you don't have that 1" polished strip around the outside of the faces.

Nice set of wheels. I was running a set of BBS Mahle, but didn't have to go through the trouble that you did to make it fit.

Not sure if this is a possibility, but was there no way to just do a conversion to 4 bolt or run an adaptor instead?

minimum thickness for the adaptor is 17mm, so a dual bolt pattern would enable me to keep the outer lip wider :).

Thanks for the pics, car looks great on those rims...very nice Civic. Very industrious thinking to drill holes Ive never seen anyone do that before.

You are most welcome JohnB, the bbs rs are the classic wheels that never go out of style, instead of having multiple sets one for the civic and one for the corrado, I decided to make one set fit both cars. I have seen alot of multi bolt pattern wheels on the market so why can't i do the same to the RS? so I went to a local machine shop and the owner is familiar with the RS wheels (he is a BMW enthusiast) and confirmed it was very safe to place additional 4 holes into the forged instar (forged and cast are not the same, and i would not do this on cast wheels) so it cost me 200.00 dollars total or 50 each wheel, for him to get this done.
