Can I run an HDMI cable from the 8300 to my TV for the video signal and an optical cable from 'audio out' on the 8300 to my surround audio receiver for a 5.1ch audio signal?
In other words, if I run HDMI out to TV, will the audio outputs on 8300 still send a signal?
Need this because the TV I want to buy (new Panny P50ST50) sends out 2ch stereo only from the optical audio out.
