Any recommendation for an internet provider in Guelph. Looking for no cap, medium speed is fine. To be shared by 4 people in an apartment, which is why no cap is desired, so that there aren't any hassles.

Teksavvy Unlimited DSL or Cable. (http://www.teksavvy.com/en/default.asp)
Their customer support has started to go down but it will go back up, it's ranging around / near Bell or Rogers level now... Just average

DSL 6 unlimited would be goood bet. $46ish per month... I'm using this with 5 people. Averaging 600-700GB per month. No caps. I'm in Kitchener-Waterloo area.
DSL 2 will be too slow for 4 people.
DSL 12 unlimited would also be nice if you can afford.

Thanks George, great feedback. I was wondering which would be enough speed.

Depends on what you're doing. If the people you're living with are going to be downloading / playing video games simultaneously. The DSL 12 will be the better option...

edit: If Teksavvy tries to charge you a really high price for a modem then see if you can buy your own modem without any fees. I've tried 4+ different modems at home... As long as it's a DSL modem and can do pppoe I connected just fine.
edit 2: What I wrote about above is only for DSL 6. I forgot to mention DSL 12 is fiber optic line, I have no experience with this. Sooo don't listen to my suggestion about buying own router etc, no clue if it will work.

If you want then you can also choose your desired one from Kijiji.

Check with start.ca for your area.

DSL 6 Unlimited costs $39.95 / month with NO install fee.

Start Communications also offers unlimited cable internet but only with their basic 3Mbps plan.

(P.S. To my knowledge Start does not monitor usage, yet!)

Thanks, I will check out start.ca. Have they been around a while?
