Hitachi 250GB 5400RPM SATA HardDrive

My old harddrive after I removed it from my 1 year old laptop. 250GB, 5400 rpm. Data has been deleted and drive is ready to use.

Just curious: why would you sand the branding off when you could have used propanol or another solvent?

I tried some iso alcohol and some paint thinner, it didn'nt work well so i sanded it. didn't think i would sell this keyboard but i use my laptop so much anyways.

i suppose you can buff it out, but the surface is so black so it isnt too noticable.

I'm sure someone with handyman experience could sand, prime and repaint the keyboard to another color of his choosing. Personally I would have just left the branding on due to future resale value.
