Has the school even been opened or is this the first year? If it's the latter, i'm not sure how anyone can answer your question...
As for the area, it's next to square one so it's a very convenient location because that's where all the bus terminals are and the mall. It's not a very interesting area (unless you like malls) but it's as convenient as it gets in Mississauga.

I am attending Sheridan College in Brampton Davis Campus. I believe this is the second year of the school since it opened. Knowing the diversity of Mississauga/Brampton and even Toronto.. Yes there is more of a mixed race but you can thoroughly enjoy.
Sign up on sheridan student union website and you will get all your answers. here is the link http://www.sheridanstudentunion.com/

This is there second year. I beg to differ from you, there are quite a bit of stuff to do around.. As in two movie theatres, some restaurants, playdium, lounges, think they also have gocarting but its probably for kids and bowliing alley.. SO there is quite a bit tow do if you ask me...

I grew up in Mississauga and it's extremely boring here. I go to the square one area maybe once every 3 months, if that! Nothing worth eating in the area and the movie theatre there only has box office hits, no foreign movies from canal+ like at varsity theatre in Toronto.
Playdium is dull and i swear half of the machines have been broken for years haha.

Sheridan College has a campus ( Called Davis Campus ) its just north of Mississauga .... Technically its in Brampton.
housing ... you can find rooms in shared accommodation brampton or mississauga for 450 to 550 range ... but they will be clean and good size
the feel is just like your typical subarban feel ... wider roads , slower bus service and huge malls to go to .... its a quieter cleaner life ....
vs toronto u get sh** place for 600 bux shared or 1,000 average for one bed apartment and its congested and small and old, busier city life , a lot going on ... traffic sux and driving is expensive but ttc is fast and more efficient ... and all parking is paid ... u leave your car parked for 5 mins without paying u get a a ticket
job wise ... i think u can find minimum wage jobs a lot easier in toronto vs mississauga

Just last week I drove by square one and saw a nice new building for sheridan college close to that weird new roundabout...not sure how that in Brampton, unless you are referring to something else.

 Someone is easily offended. And i sound miserable? That's news to me! Guess someone can't handle the truth!
It's a good place to raise your kids... but who wants to go to school in a city with that type of description? It's clean, safe and there's lots of green space but it's also inconvenient without a car. If you had anything of substance to add, you should've countered with what you find so amazing about Mississauga.
But i'm going to assume you're just trolling.
I didn't tell the OP to NOT go to Sheridan, i was just giving my thoughts on the area.

Firsr year attending a college(sheridan) but its on oakville for an IT program and I just received my timetable. To my best of knowledge professors control their time and decide what their class schedule is for the term. I really find my sched sucks as it conflicts my night job and pretty compress(6 courses and classes runs from mon-thurs yea 4 times a week with a frisay off) the receptionist said my sched is pretty unusually.I know its off topic but come back to your question, been living in Sauga for 10 year and I can tell you that it is your typical suburbs place wit lots of space but many malls to choose from. You wouldnt enjoy it without a car as most are really residentials who has jobs at toronto. I live close to etobicoke border so i hang out more at the toronto area.

you'll love it there, its a new campus, the building is awesome inside and out, very diverse culture there is lots to do in near the campus and if you ever get bored of the area you're minutes away from the bus that goes to downtown toronto! :)

Be very careful with this school. I found out they are selling diploma to international students who are coming to Canada then work in nail shops. Don't even have to attend classes. I was told it can be bought for $5-8K. So someone in among their staff is part of a fraudulent immigration ring. I am currently trying to find more details to get them deported or at least prevent them from re-entering Canada.

Intriguing.
My sister in enrolled in a joint UTM-Sheridan program and is in her last year of uni. I'll see if I can get her to share some thoughts about the place. Her biggest complaint about Mississauga though, is that there's really nothing to do there.

I'm taking Business at the Oakville campus and I'm in my last year. I think you should consider yourself lucky to have a day off. During my 3 years, I think there was only 2 semester when we had a day off. We also had 6 courses/classes each semester from Monday-Friday. This year, I mostly have morning classes which allows me to work part-time.

I also want to add that Sheridan has 4 campuses: Brampton, Mississauga (next to SQ1 opened last fall), and 2 in Oakville (Trafalgar and the Skills Training Centre on Iroquois Shore Rd.)

OP you're either very young or trying hard to troll, if you're considering going to Sheridan in Sauga' you should be concerning yourself with the quality of the education or campus.
Also what is the mixed race thing about, do you have any idea where you live? last time I checked are are mixed race people in almost every city in this country + at every college and university across Canada, if being around "Mixed" race people seriously bothers you, maybe your not ready for college and should reconsider post secondary education.
