[LF] Someone to MOD my PS2

I need a chip and I need it installed!
I am in Mississauga and I am looking for someone to install it for me since I don't know how to do this.
I have a $100 bucks to spend on this. Can it be done?

Also if anyone knows what chip to get and which ones to avoid I would also appreciate a pm or post here telling me the benefits as well, since I am a newb and don’t want to be taken advantage of buy being sold someone’s bottom of the barrel chip. :)

lol, just go in (steeles and kennedy) and go to stores which sell video games, you'll find at least 5-6, $90 bux was how much i got it done 4 monthes ago..OR you can ask the guy he said...

There are AUTHENTIC chips for modifying consoles? I thought mods were illegal as it is. lol. Guess u learn new things everyday. :)

mods are 100% legal btw, the copying of games that are not yours are not legal. the intended purpose is to make a legal backup of a game you own. What Pacific mall does with selling games is illegal and I am sure theyve been busted a couple times, but most of the time they probably just get away with bribing corupted cops.
Anyways authentic Chips are ones that are made by companies such as DMS TEAM www.dms4.com , and teamxecuter.com etc.
Then you have china factories that steal the coding or parts of it or w/e (usually from a lower end chip, the DMS4 chips have military security on there new chips, the old DMS3 was stolen though so beware of P.Mall selling DMS3, although that chip still costs them more $ so they wouldnt)
And they make a chip from very low quality parts. I picked up 10 clones from Pmall through a friend for $10 each, because a someone that wanted a modinstall from me had requested it , since he didnt want to spend the extra $20-$30 on an authentic one, and his system was really really old, hardly uses it etc.

Mind you my prices with Authentic Chips work out to cheaper than Pmalls fake chip they install. Also the $10 chip I purchased, is the best one they carry in Pmall, and now I don't think they even carry that ( the $10 one wasn't too bad, but the other ones I saw for less were really bad, like the ripper9 and messiah , magic etc)
The truth of the matter is you are paying $120-$150 for something that costs them less than $10 Where as the real authentic chips cost a lot more, ie DMS 4 Lite, costs roughly $60 cad.
