Unfortunately due to certain circumstances I have to move and unfortunately I am unable to bring my dogs with me. I wish it could be different but I would really like to find them a new home and not have to take them to the Humane Society. I don't want any money or anything just a good home for them.

The first is a 3 year old female Walker Tree Hound. Her name is Nell

The second is a 2 year old male German Shepherd/Lab. His name is Snickers

Both are house trained and have great temperments. They have been around children since they were puppy's and are really good with them. They are both really big sucks and like attention. They have also been well socialized with other dogs.

I have crates for both of them that are availible if whomever takes the dogs wants them.

I can't think of anymore information to add right now. If you have any questions just let me know. I should also have some other pictures available just don't have them online right now.

Please let me know if you can give them a good home or know someone that can. I am willing to drive a distance within reason to find them this home. They can be split up if thats what it takes to find them a home.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Any Bumps to keep this up top and help me find a home for them are appreciated.

Please PM me if interested.

They are SO SO SO cute.... so tempting :(
But I'm so afraid I can't take good care of them, since I have always loved dogs but never had one.

Where is Wellend?

I sincerely hope they find a good home

Wish I could help you. I love dogs but refuse to have them confined in the city. Best of luck to you and the dogs.

Jerryhung,

Welland is on the way to Niagara! Not too far from TO. I feel really sad for the gentleman giving away the Dogs!

Actually Welland is in Niagara, kind of stuck inbetween Niagara Falls and St. Catherines.

how heavy are they? rough dimensions?

The female- Nell is about 40lbs and about 2' to the top of her back

The male - Snickers is about 65lbs and about 2.5' to the top of his back

I'm working night shift but in the morning I will measure their height and weight more accurately. I should be just about right with what I figure though.

Unfortunately I have to move back home and my parents already have 2 dogs of their own. Just too much for one house. I just really want to find them good homes.

I would prefer not to split them up, but if thats what it takes to find them homes then I really have no choice. I just want to be sure that they find a home.

I had to give up my coon hound last year when I moved to Ireland. Quarentine laws meant she would have has to have stayed in quarentine for 6 months, and that wasnt fair. Would have cost 5 grand, but honestly would have paid it if the 6 month thing wasn't there. We had interviews for potential owners, and made sure she went to the best home.

I would take both of the dogs too, if I had a house instead of an Apt. I'll prolly have one by next year if you want to keep em lol. Good luck.

Nell looks alot like my old dog too... its tempting

Thats why I'm really hoping that I can find someone who will take them.

I also have 2 crates that I forgot to put in the original posting I don't have pictures of them but they are the proper sizes for each of the dogs. If whoever takes the dogs wants them, they can have them.

Again I'm not looking for anything just a good home for them.

How is the tree hound for barking? My old hound never barked, but I know they can have a tendancy to. I live in an apt, so its a consideration.

Have you tried putting an ad in a local paper. I used the spec, when I was in Hamilton and had at least 5 people come look at the dog. These are great dogs, someone will take em.

She doesn't bark very much just the odd time. The most she barks is when you get playing with her and chasing around.

rock hard

Back to the top for these pups!!!! Any luck yet?

I just got back word from a couple that took Snickers the other day to see if he would work out and they said that everything is fine. Nell went earlier this week to an elderly couple who has another dog thats older and they called last night to let me know that everything is working out good.

I just wanted to thank everyone for thier interest and helping keep this thread up. As much as I miss the dogs I know that I have found good loving homes for them.

Thank-you.
