You better hope its instock when you try this. It was a Boxing Day/Week sale price, not sure if they'll match it.

Done and done. They refunded the difference without question.

Are you serious? You're going to download TV listings to your remote every day? This is nothing more than a gimmick, IMHO.

The TV listings thing might be OK if you had non-digital cable. The download is relatively quick... wouldn't take more than a couple of minutes and would save having a TV guide on hand. I did it once just for the hell of it, but as I have a dish there isn't much point.
I picked up one of these remotes on Boxing Day. The rebate form doesn't stipulate any limitations, so I am going to send the rebate in and give it a shot. Strange though that if the Boxing week sale price was eligible for the rebate that they wouldn't have had it advertised for $60 after MIR.

The MIR expired on Dec 24. I bought mine around 12:01 AM EST. My invoice had a date of Dec 24 (PST) on it. I sent my MIR in. If they honour it it will be great. Even if they don't $99 is a good price for the remote.

Whoops... was looking at the postmark date and not the expiry date. Guess I won't waste the stamp. And I agree; the $99 price is very good for what I have found this remote can do. I have tried Kameleon's, that were priced higher, that were far less versatile.

The MIR is purchase by Dec. 24, postmark by Jan. 24, 2005.
The TV listings can be downloaded up to 14 days in advance, and includes listings for Rogers and Bell digital lineups if you want them.
