NewEgg Refurbished ASUS Laptop - Anything to worry about?

Bought a refurbished ASUS laptop from NewEgg.ca for my mother-in-law.

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.as ... 6834231051

Basic specs, but should be fine for internet, email, iTunes and Skype.

I will obviously have a look and make sure the thing is alright physically. Should I be worried about the anything else though? Do ASUS computers have alot of bloatware? Should I do a fresh Windows install?
As it's not really a brand new computer is there any worry of spyware or other software installed by a previous buyer or is that removed by the manufacturer prior to sending it out again?

Refurb could be anything, a faulty keyboard was changed, a motherboard was changed, etc... Physically it should feel as if it was brand new. I'm also pretty sure it is factory refurbished meaning Asus refurbed it.

Normally they would reinstall the OS to factory as well it's not a "used" computer in the sense that they left the OS they probably wiped each one. As for specs it should be good for that
