Fill up last night for 72.5 cents. :)

The first Sunoco I went to had a line up and only 2 rows of pumps open.
I left and drove to another Sunoco. Same price. No waiting. No line up. And I have time to wash the windshield. :)

I need octane 94.

I love how people will line up for like 20 minutes and have people cut the line, etc when it's a cent or two cheaper.

last time i was at sunoco on steeles and the lineups were a mess. the price was 74.9. i drove down to finch and birchmount sunoco and there was no lineup. gas price was 75.5.

no lineups mean no time wasted... no gas wasted... no blood pressure rising due to inconsiderate drivers... no need to deal with people trying to cut the line... or SUV / corolla drivers who can't manuevre their cars... the extra 0.6 cent? I'll gladly pay it.

Finally someone who understands. Sometimes it's just not worth the time for the $ you're saving. It's like the people who will drive 10 mins each way, wait 5 mins to get a CSR, argue with the CSR for 10 mins, just to save $15 on a "Stooples" PM...and then when they don't get it they come back here and b1tch about it :cheesygri

Well, if it works.. $15 for 35 minutes of work.. not bad. I don't get paid that much, so it's worth my time :->

LOL even if it's 2 cents cheaper it's still not worth a line up.

Christ, a standard 53 L tank, say you fill it up (usually there's still some from the last fill-up) so it's 46 L x 0.02 = $0.92. Totally not worth the whole craziness of stalking for a spot at a gas station. I live in Quebec where its always insanely high anyway, so on a %age basis it's even more meaningless.

It's all relative to how much you value your time. The least I'd go out of my way to save $ would be half of what I value my $/hour. Reason why I say half, is because of taxes. For example, if you value your time at $50 per hour, after taxes, you'd 'pocket' about $25/hour, so I wouldn't go out of my way to save money if it was any less than $25 saved / hour.
