Hot deal? 55" Samsung D7000 3D LED TV for $1197 @ NCIX

Is it a good deal? I've been looking for a 60" or 55" 3D TV for the bedroom, and can't seem to find any good deal out there @ BB or FS or Costco ... but came across this. Decent 60" 3D TV's still easily cost $1400-1500, and 55" still cost ~$1200 for entry tiers.

The website doesn't even give a model # (WTH?) but the picture shows it's D7000, which was / is Samsung's top tier model I believe? Ideally I'd prefer a 60" but 55" will also do.

What do you guys think?

In details it says "Series: 6" which leads me to believe this is the UN55F6400, not the D7000. Specs and such match the UN55F6400 as well. Seems like a decent deal tho, especially since on Amazon it's reviewed as a better TV than the 6300 and the 6300 is also $1199 everywhere today.

Thanks ... kinda sucks NCIX doesn't even show the model # but thanks for letting me know it's a 6400 and not a 7000.

Dilemma dilemma ... should I go for 55" or wait for 60" deal around boxing day? Hmmm ...

I have the same dilemma. I think I will wait until boxing day. Seems 55 inch TVs are the sizes with the deal's. I am hoping boxing day will have more 60 inch deals.

NCIX is getting shadier every day. Be careful with this as I'm 100% sure that there's a clause somewhere that essentially says 'Items may not be exactly as pictured'. I had a hell of a time trying to exchange a defective keyboard with them.....I can't imagine the hell of trying to return a $1000+ TV.

I'm still thinking about this - but I'd go pick up in store and see what TV it actually is. If it's the 6400 for $1197 - good deal? I know it's no 7100 - but it's like ~$700 less.

Thanks .. and it may very well be a 2 yr model.

I think I've made up my mind ... I'm sticking with 60". All the spec's and everything, but at the end of the day there's no replacement for displacement and TV's are never 'too big' ... if a 60" deal doesn't come up I'll just wait for boxing week :)

thanks guys

Specs look like the F6800. This makes sense as my friend picked this up yesterday at FS for $1200. Great TV. For $1200, its a steal.

Just called NCIX and it's the UN55F6400 like I thought. Thoughts on the deal?
