laptop screen mod help

does anyone know what i would have to do to use my laptop screen as a second display with my pc. its an old laptop and it doesnt work cept the screen. it would be cool to have a mini screen next to my crt monitor. TIA

edit: the laptop is a Toshiba Satellite, and oldie! the screen can do 640x480 max, 5" i think (pure guess)

IIRC, you will almost certainly need a controller for the panel unless you know how to rewire the laptop lcd and associated hardware. And let's just say that they're not cheap.
