Any ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Program) experts on the forum?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to help my daughter to fill in an online application for ODSP - http://www.mcss.gov.on.ca/en/mcss/progr ... ments.aspx

As a parent, am I considered to be part her family when they ask, for example,
"Exact total amount of income (money that you and the members of your family receive), including start date and amount for each item"
or
"Exact total amount of assets, including value and date purchased for each item".

Or this is for the case when she has her own family?

Thanks in advance.

It means her own family- spouse, children. If she doesn't live with you, none of your information is relevant.

If she does live with you, then how much you charge for rent, food etc will count. Don't know how old your daughter is. I'm not an expert by any means.

Thanks.
She is 18 y/o and she does not have job, so I can't charge her anything even if I wish.

If she is living rent-free, her cheque (assuming she's approved) will be cut back by a set amount. ODSP can send the rent portion directly to the landlord (you) if requested.
