Darcy Rota, an older Vancouver Canuck used to have coffee at my parents coffee shop when he was still playing. this was in the early 80's. he autographed all of our Menus.

I've met Butch Carter, former NBA player and former coach of the Toronto Raptors (and brother of Cris Carter of NFL fame). His investment company was interested in buying my employer, so they dropped by for due dilligence...and realized that they should not waste their money. :D

And a couple of years ago I sat next to the (interim) CEO of Arthur Andersen on a flight from NYC to Toronto...

Nuthin' like chatting with Bo Duke...(John Schneider) from Dukes of Hazzard...autographed one of our trucks and did some work for him personally as well.

Close Encounters:

1-Sat next to Charelton Heston on flight to San Fran from LA. Didn't know that until someone pointed it out to me.

2-Petr Nedved: got autograph at UBC while a student there about 7 years ago. He's stuck up

3-Chuck Noris: met him and got an autograph while working at Music World about 10 years ago. He was interested in country music. Not too tall. Nice person.

4-Pavel Bure: was signing autographs, couldn't speak much English at the time.

5-Bobby Hull: autograph signing. Got a pic with him too.

6-Martin Sheen: was walking through the Vancouver Bay Downtown parking lot and asked me for directions.

7-KD Lang: was sitting up in the nosebleed section, last row with some of her friends at a Canucks game.

8-Amanda Marshal: met her backstage about 10 years back. Very friendly and talkative.

Saw but didn't talk to:

1-Laura Innes: Dr Weaver on ER while walking through Bally's in Las Vegas.

2-Dennis Leary: was making a left turn from Las Vegas Blvd.

3-Larry Flint: was playing blackjack at Las Vegas Hilton while sitting in his gold wheelchair. A big tipper!!

4-Bill Gates: was driving on Bel-Red Road in Redmond, Washington on his way to Microsoft. We were going in the opposite direction and were surprised to see him as we were exiting the MS campus.

5-Mike Bibby: was waling on Robson St was some of his friends.

kk buys her fruits and veg and seafood at the Granville Island market in Vancouver. She apparently attended Eric Hamber high school here.

ok, i guess i have met some famous ppl. met the old timers hockey team. my boss gave me tickets and a pass to an afterwards get together with them.
my dad being a big hockey buff, i got a hat and had it signed by bobby hull.. it was my dads bday and i had him write that on the hat. so excitedly i gave it to him... this is what he said,
what the hell you getting that a-hole to sign this for me, hes a wife beater you know!! haha i laffed so hard. owell, thought it was a cool idea, guess my dad didnt :P

got every player to sign the book i had over thier picture.

I actually met most of those people at a Christmas party in Vancouver of all places, I have met a few others in a few others in random encounters on movie sets, many before I was even acting, and some I have just met on the street.

I'd Love to meet Clint Eastwood. He has a place in North Vancouver. Hope i can bump into Dirty Harry next time he is in town. He was in town sometime last year but it was for a tragic reason. His house was on fire, and his 8 or 9 yr old daughter had to be in the Hospital. But i thought it was cool that he did an interview with the local news.
