xp sp2 acting up ??

Hey guys,

After installing sp2 on my xp home laptop i noticed a few things but mainly the problems listed below need attention right now.

I have a home lan setup with 3pcs and network sharing etc.. its working fine but after installing sp2 on all machines and i try to access the shared drives a dialog box prompts me to enter some username and password..

what is this? i'm not sure esp since it didnt ask me this before installing sp2 so i'm lost guys..

Right click 'My Computer' -> Manage
This opens up 'Computer Management' -> Local Users and Groups\Users
Make sure account name and password is in here. Must have a password. Uncheck "User must change password at next logon"
Checkmark "User cannot change password"
Checkmark "Password never expires"
Do this the same for the rest of your remote machines and your shares should work.
