Domain Name: Redirecting?

I have a domain registered with GoDaddy, and the old hosting I was on is now dead. What do I configure to point it to a new host?

I realize this is probably an obvious question, but I'm flat out not getting it...

You must go into your config on GoDaddy and change your DNS (domain name server) to point at your new host. The host should have provided you with 2 or 3 new IP numbers. These are the new DNS.
