I don't mean to be lazy, but i'm too tired to do the math. Can someone help me PM this...

Staples $119.95:
http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?CatIds=88%2C5584%2C5622,5589&webid=516284&affixedcode=WW

Office Depot $79.99
http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=361396

PM = $60.01 - $30 mail-in rebate - $5 Online Coupon = $25.01

Is this right?

This is an invalid PM as I accidently was looking at the US Office Depot Web site, but in my case staples didn't notice.

that would be an excellent PM, except you're looking at the american office depot site.

office depot in canada sells them for $109.99
http://www.officedepot.ca/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=361396&location_info=SG_3_DV_18_CT_1803_SC_1803015_FM_687 839_SK_361396

it is on sale at FS for $99, plus a $30 rebate.

so $90.01 after PM
-$5 coupon = $85
+ tax
-$30 rebate = $55 ish

It was a better PM last week, when staples was selling them for $139.95

I decided not to buy it, while it is a good deal I would need to buy 2 new Wireless PC-cards (for my 2 laptops) to take advantage of the speed.

If you want my PM confirmation number, send me a private message. First come, first served.

Wow! Staples, who is always so picky with PMs, didn't notice it was the American site?!!! It was an RFDer who noticed it??

Perhaps there are Staples spies that check these forums when they get hit with PMs to see what excuses they can give. Usually it's us that say it is invalid. (like the colour, etc.) So next time, even if anybody notices that there is an error, keep it to yourself. :D And see if Del, Chris, Mike, or Kerri actually finds an excuse. :D

I think I got this before for around $10 AR. Just remember NOT to use the 2.45 beta firmware. The wired portion is fine, but when my friends tried connecting to it wirelessly, it wouldn't get a signals even when it is beside the router! 2.50 works fine so far, according to my friends, since I don't have a wireless notebook. :(

Latest firmware is 2.5 I think, latest beta is 2.52 but you can only get it from the German site (firmwarre is in English so dont worry)

No! Stay away from them at all cost, I've had manny different Linksys routers (more than 5) and I always end up resetting them every day after around 6 months. If you do any heavy downloading, chat on mirc, newsgroups, go with DLink.

I know... why are access cards even more expensive than routers with so much more funtionality? :(

What is the DNS relay? Where can I turn it off?
I don't seem to experience any reboots, so I guess it is already off?

That's because it runs Linux. If Linksys would go Windows, then they would not have any problems. ;)

Just a warning, this router can be a huge PITA.

Constant firmware revisions, and they stiull have P2P reboot issues and PADT Tag connection issues.

I've had two different Rev Cs and when stable, they're great, but can really get annoying.
