The Hobbit Fan Fellowship Contest by Warner Bros. Pictures Canada began August 25, 2014.

THIS CONTEST INCLUDES A SERIES OF FOUR (4) CHALLENGES. ENTRANTS WILL BE PRIMARILY JUDGED ON THE VIDEO HE OR SHE SUBMITS AS PART OF THE THIRD CHALLENGE. IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THE VIDEO CHALLENGE, YOU WILL NOT BE JUDGED IN THIS CONTEST. Sponsor will make Challenges available periodically over the course of the Contest Period. Each entrant in this Contest will be primarily judged on the Video he or she submits as part of the Video Challenge.

Eligible contestants - register with Contest app online using FB or TW. Entrants may then complete one (1) or more of four (4) online activities available to registered participants of the Contest App (each a "Challenge"). Through completion of the Challenges and certain activities related to the Challenges, entrants can earn Coins (defined below). One Challenge requiresyou to create and submit a video describing your favorite "memory" from Middle-earth and an explanation of why you are the biggest The Hobbit fan ("Video"), as more fully detailed in these Official Rules (including in Appendix A). Other Challenges may require that you create and submit or publicly post photographs, text, or other user-generated content (collectively, with your Video, "Entrant Content"). All Entrant Content you submit, post, or otherwise distribute in connection with this Contest must comply with the "Submission Requirements" detailed in Section 4 below and otherwise comply with these Official Rules. Following the close of the Contest Period, one (1)entrant will be selected through a judging process that primarily evaluates the Video and also considers the number of Coins earned.

There may be other contests that are similar to this one being run at the same time in conjunction with the theatrical release of Sponsor's The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies motion picture ("Film"). Entry into this Contest does not constitute entry into any other.

WINNER SELECTION/NOTIFICATION : All eligible entries received will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by Sponsor (the "Judges"), based on the following criteria according to the percentage weights indicated: extent to which Video demonstrates knowledge of The Hobbit and other Middle-earth lore (40%); how well the entrant persuasively and compellingly demonstrates that he/she is "the biggest" fan of The Hobbit, by reference to the Video and Coins earned (40%); and creativity (20%) ("Criteria"). The one (1) entry with the highest score will be declared the potential winner of the Contest.

PRIZE: One winner in this Contest will receive a trip for winner and one (1) guest on Sponsor-selected dates between October 31, 2014 and November 7, 2014, to New Zealand to tour filming locations for the Film and other locales and to attend a private screening of the Film with Sir Peter Jackson. Prize trip consists solely of the following for use only by winner and his or her guest: two (2) round-trip, economy-class airfare tickets from a Sponsor-selected airport near the winner's residence in the Territory to a Sponsor-selected airport in or near Auckland, New Zealand; hotel accommodations (one (1) room, based on double occupancy) for five (5) total nights at Sponsor-selected hotels in or near Rotorua, NZ (one night), Auckland, NZ (one night), Queenstown, NZ (two nights) and Wellington, NZ (one night); a guided tour of selected filming locations for the Film as well as other locales; admission to a private screening of the Film, which is scheduled to be attended by the Film's director, Peter Jackson; select meals and select evening cultural activities in New Zealand (all as determined by Sponsor and prize providers in their sole discretion); travel insurance; and transportation between all scheduled activities in New Zealand (excluding periods designated as free time for winner and guest), including: (i) to and from the arrival and departure airport in New Zealand, (ii) to and from each filming location and other locale to be toured, (iii) to and from the Film screening and all other scheduled activities, and (iv) between cities in New Zealand as required by the tour schedule. Transportation between scheduled activities within New Zealand may be by ground or by air, as determined by Sponsor and prize providers in their sole discretion.Return flight will depart from an airport in or near Wellington, NZ. Due to travel time and time zone changes, return flight may not arrive until November 8, 2014, local time in the Territory. Winners may not extend their stay. The ARV of the prize is $15,000 CAD based on a Vancouver departure.

Entry into this Contest is a multi-step process. To begin, eligible participants must visit www.etalk.ca/TheHobbitFanContestand follow the on-screen links and instructions to register with the Contest App. To register, you will need to log into the Contest App using either your Facebook or Twitter account (you can obtain a Facebook or Twitter account at no charge if you do not already have one). You must agree to the sharing and collection of certain information as detailed in the pop-up boxes presented to you during registration with the Contest App.

Sponsor will make Challenges available periodically over the course of the Contest Period. Each entrant in this Contest will be primarily judged on the Video he or she submits as part of the Video Challenge. Completion of the other Challenges can help the entrant to earn Coins, which, as described below, will also be considered during the judging process. The first Challenge will be available at (or shortly after) the beginning of the Contest Period. One new Challenge will be made available during each of the remaining calendar weeks of the Contest Period.
