I applied for a management position and have been sent the following interesting question:
How do you see yourself evolving as a manager? What will your management style become?
How would you answer it?

I hardly think they want to hear how we'd answer it. You're the one who wants to be a manager.... how would you answer it?
And now that I think about it a little more... if you aren't able to answer these questions thoroughly yourself... are you up for being a manager?

I guess what I was looking for is some input regarding management theory. I do not know the right terms to use regarding management styles. From the reading I have done so far I would be described as a Permissive Democrat.
