strangely enough there seem to be few interested... with almost a full year of warranty left, i thought there wouldn't be a problem finding a new owner.

possibly. although I haven't decided if i'm going to be building a new system this year yet. current games seem to be running just fine on my box and office apps never posed a problem :)
Thanks to everyone for bumping my thread. I'm a bit surprised that there's such a luck of interest... Maybe I should buy a new battery and try to sell it for $1300 instead?

the new battery cost $300? :arrowu:

the new battery cost $300? :arrowu:
no, it's only $169 :) The value increase also comes from the fact that there's no longer a need to go and get a new battery... i'm also starting to think that already mentioned "too good to be true" factor has something to do with unfortunate lack of interest. If I jack up the price a bit, it will no longer look "too good" :) Psychology for idiots 101 - exactly how retail works.

Honestly, the battery thing might just be the ticket....that or drop the price to $999.99 :cheesygri :arrowu:

Possibly might be the issue of the near-dead battery. However, you might be able to find one on eBay for cheap...(?)
Also, there seems to be a lot of people selling laptops nowadays, so that makes it tougher to find potential buyers.
