For those of you who like watching movies at drive-in theatres, Docks has come up with a special deal starting this coming Sunday(22nd) for $20 per car. I wonder if a school bus or tour coach qualifies as a car? :cheesygri Nevertheless, even a normal car that can carry 5 to 7 people is a very good deal. All you need to do is bring some lawn chairs and a few fllece blankets with you, and you can sit outside your car for two brand new movies. Some people do prefer to watch the movies way back on top of the driving range canopy, which is equipped with stereo speakers all through. The movies being shown this week are Star Wars Episode III: Renvenge of the Sith and Robots. http://www.thedocks.com/v2/mainset.html

Cannot beat it if 5 persons going in a car and works out to be $4 per person for two movies.

The picture quality sucks at that place especially from a distance.

Only good use for that deal would be Saturday (if it applies) when the teenager kiddies go clubbing since for $20 you get a free movie, parking and club entrance for however many people you can bring.

Good deal, meybe if you clean your windscreen it might help the picture show a little better.

It is true that the picture quality is not too good there, because the street lights on Cherry Street are really bright, but then if you can go in early and secure a spot in the first 10 rows it should be okay. the lot is hugh that can accomodate 500 cars and it was never full whenever we went. For stereo reception sound and a few bucks per person it is not too shabby at all, especially when the double feature are both good.

What's stopping someone from sitting outside the parking lot and watching the movie free? It takes frugal to a new level, but shame is for the foolish.
