for valentines day my guy gave me a sampler set of lancome... they are all heavenly!
my two favorites are tresor and poeme, wondering if anyone has any thoughts on these.
mostly i've always been more of a body spray person, but now i'm trying to decide which of these two i should 'hint' about for my upcoming birthday.
yes guys, girls love getting perfume!
anyone use these? or have a favorite they might share?
EDIT: guys, you are welcome to share what you like on a girl (perfume wise ;))

Burberry Brit is my favourite ladies scent it's very vanilla smelling..
Other good ones are,
Prada - it's very flowery powdery smelling.
Vera Wang - The first one, i know there is a new one, but the older one is still a great one.
Victor & Rolph Flower Bomb - it's a good scent similar i find to the prada but must be put at least an hour before leaving the house the scent is very strong..
and the new Hermes is fantastic as well..

My girlfriend wears Issey Miyake and Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise.
Personally I prefer the Issey Miyake scent, it's more sophisticated with a rich woody scent. Whereas the Beyond Paradise is a younger more refreshing smell, but reminds me too much of car freshners (not the ones you hang on the rearview mirror ... the $20 ones from those chinese shops).
Edit: Also, the Beyond Paradise doesn't last all day and seems to fade more quickly. Both the Eau de Toilette and the Eau de Parfum.

My gf wears Mexx wonderlove and it smells nice. It's inexpensive as well. I prefer it over other stuff she has, but I don't remember what she has...haha

I bought my girlfriend "Dolce Gavanna" and it's the most awesome-smelling feminine perfume there is..... "Eternity" for women is also awesome.

I have two perfumes, my favourite though was a gift, called Haiku Awakenings, from Avon (not sure). The second fav is Estee laude's spiced green tea. This one fades faster, but has a sweet smell to it. Haiku awakeneings is a bit strong, but smells great and lasts. I had lots of comments for this one.

i've got some haiku, i just looked at the box but it doesnt say 'awakenings' so i presume its a little different? and yes, its avon.
i too think its a little strong, but not so bad, depending on where youre going when you wear it.

Issey Miyake all the way! :)
i don't own the Issey Miyake summer fragrance, but it's a lot softer than the original (which is already quite soft), but i find it's fresher....
another one that's actually pretty good is the Jean Paul Gaultier Classique Summer 2005 one. it has soft florals with some citrus in it that makes it much fresher than the original one.
narcisso rodriguez for her is also a nice one...

Every Lady should own Channel #5.
A timeless classic trini.
I must say, I rarely wear perfumes anymore. Too many people in a corporate environment have environmental allergies or scent sensitivities, and I work with a lot of members of the public, so our policy is to just not add any additional scents.
I sometimes feel guilty if my shampoo leaves a bit of a scent.
A few of my good friends are also scent sensitive, so I've virtually stopped wearing any at all.
If I wear some, I usually opt for Perry Ellis.

Natural body odour/chemistry has alot to do with how a scent smells on a person.
What smells awesome on one person may smell absolutely rancid on someone else.
CK's Escape smells amazing on a good friend of mine, but when I wear it, it reeks (and not becasue I use to much either)! ;)
My current 'scent' catalogue includes Cool Water, Burberry, Arden's Green Tea and Bvlgari... and my customized blend of pheromones.

My husband loves Jovan original musk oil on me; the only scent he always - always comments on how much he likes it.:cheesygri It is an extremely soft yet noticeable scent; funny thing is, I can't wear other fragrances with much success. They tend to smell too sweet/rancid overall. So yeah, body chemistry really plays a role. And right out of the bottle, it smells wonderful.
