I'm looking to buy a Dell 2405 widescreen monitor, but I'd prefer to get it for less than full price. I have never ordered anything from Dell, so I don't know how the whole system works (something to do with calling sales reps?). Do any of you know of a deal for this nice monitor?

Dell 10 Days of Deals or something like that is set to come back on June 1st so you may want to wait it out through that. Some ppl have "bets" that the 2405 is going to be in there.

What do you mean? Can their reps give you better deals than the adverticed?

That seems to be the case, though with limits. I've ordered half a dozen times. On one order I asked why the US side had free shipping and we didn't. The rep waived the shipping charges.
