I'm considering picking up a Dell Inspiron 6000d with the the default config.

http://configure.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=ca&CS=CADHS1&l=en&OC=OCINSP6000D_FEAT_CH6DP05

Currently Dell is offering $270 worth of discounts for this model ($1,869.00 - 270 = $1.599k), but this deal ends on June 2.

Do you think I should wait until after June 2 (so...june 3) to see if there'll be a better deal or just get it now? Do they usually start new promotions right after the old one or is there a delay (of a few weeks or so)?

thx.

you might be best to wait for another $750 off of $1500 Inspiration from Dell.com. There are issues about ordering with a Canadian CC and shipping that you need to address before the sale or you may lose out. Search hot deals for info from last sale.

Dell promos are almost always friday-thrusday. There will be different "deals" on friday again. usually it alternates extra "features" like free shipping one week, free microsoft office next week, free hard drive or memory upgrade, the next week, etc.
