I mean, if i leave my laptop in the car, will the heat kill it?? is around 20 to 25 celcuis this week~~

no, that won't do any damage to it. just don't leave it in direct sunlight, or you may come back to find you don't have a laptop anymore ;)

Probably won't kill it but I imagine it can't be good for it if you leave it too long. Remember just because it's 20-25 outside doesn't mean it's 20-25 inside the car... especially if it's not parked in the shade.

Is just that i am working in my office right now and plan to go to the movie soon... don't want to drop it off at home first, is waste of gas~~

the temperature will be hotter in the car so it will not be a good idea to leave it for an extended period of time.

If it's just for the duration of a movie then I don't think the laptop will be in any danger from heat. It'll probably be in the evening too so that helps. It's not like it's in the middle of the day when it's usually hottest.

With extreme heat, I would be more worried about your batteries, screen, and the other components that use adhesives/compounds.

During the component assembly phase, the PCB and components are exposed to higher temps than you'll ever get in real life.

just be sure to place it out of sight... but ur located in sask. so it might not be so bad there :)

here's a thought, leave it in the trunk and bingo no sun and stolen laptop
