I don't get that joke? He was asking about "bikes" and you said girls?

I guess you're gonna have a lonely Sat. night now that you're banned. HAHA

Anyways, i think the best bike rack is the "hitch" one. If you have a hitch. 2nd is the roof rack. You're looking to spend around $200 or more for a nice Thule or Yakama (i think thats the spelling). There's this store called Rack Attack i think, and they carry a lot of racks. Its Laird/Eglinton.

Those are the cheap ones.

What kind are you looking for? Make up your mind on that first :)

Yeah what's the vehicle you will be using it on? There are many different types of racks, along with many brands of each.

Also, what are you using it for? Just to bring your bike to a place out of town.. like 30min drive? Or is this for longhaul camping/vacation adventures? Is security an issue or will you pretty much always be around while the bikes are on the rack?

I also saw a Rack Attack: around Staples at WC/Dundas, it was across from it.
Fairly close to Costco.

A few big names: Thule, Yamika, Saris

They're cost mroe than $100 for roof racks. The Saris Bone rack might be worth looking at if you don't nind a trunk version (might do minivan too, not sure).

Brant Cycle had them, but didn't fit my trunk properly.

I bought a Thule rack from Canadian Tire when it was on sale about two years ago. I have been very happy with the quality and performance. It is easy to attach, holds three bikes securely, allows you to open the minivan hatch without removing the rack (you do have to remove the bikes) and the bars holding the bikes fold out of the way when not in use. It is also configurable for a wide variety of vehicles.

Thule 3-Bike Carrier

Product# 40-1002-4

* Holds three bikes
* Folds down with push-button feature
* Six straps and easy-to-use fit dial for perfect fit to vehicle's trunk or hatch
* Closed cell foam pads protect vehicle finish
* Velcro straps prevent flapping and keep straps tangle-free

Price $159.99

Get the ones they use in the TDF team cars. They hold up to 6 bikes I think.
