I recently heard that the Subway sandwich Sub Club Card (8 little stickers = one free 6 inch sub) is ending because of fruadulant/ fake stickers being sold on Ebay.

Does anybody know when Subway will stop redeeming the cards?? I though is was in early August (6th ???). I still have 3 full cards to redeem...

It might be GTA only. I believe they're still doing the stickers and cards thing here in Ottawa because the owners here thought it was good for business.

WB from your surgery, glad everything went fine!

And thanks for the clarification, I was just looking at the four cards I'd accumulated in horror :)

What? ends today? WTF?!? I was at the college and yonge location a month ago. The guy said it ended a month prior. So I ended up paying for the sub that I didn't even want to get. Liar!

Yes the surgery went real good still in a bit of pain but i can deal with that for a few days.As with the subway cards the owners of the chanins in ottawa really like this promo and that is why they are keeping it.I know the subway in bc is packed everyday at lunch and alot of people have the cards.

i think the new promotion is supposed to be a digitized sub club card (like a credit card or something)

carrying an extra subway card in my wallet 365 days of the year is kinda a pain in the ***** , when I use my optimum card and use my credit card much more often than a subway card

Just shmoozed it up with my local subway manager... the replacement cards will be magnetic cards (credit card style).... get ready to have a Costanza wallet with all of your membership cards.

They believe that it will be more cost efficient for them (no more stickers), and more convenient for the customers (not having to lick and stick anymore)

I just see this as an added card in my wallet.

Over here it is Sept 15th I am pretty sure.

But I need 4 more stamps to get me a "free" footlong.

Anyone want to send me their now "worthless" stamps?

Depends on where you live.. Toronto may be a test city. I just took a trip out west, and every subway we went to from Dryden ON to Kelowna B.C was giving out the stamps. No mention of the program ending..

Either way, the increase in price of subs (from both Subway and Mr. Sub) is just outrageous. When I was in high school, I used to buy one every week for $3.99 + tax = 4.27 to get a footlong cold cut trio. Now the same sub is over $5 before taxes.

Time to convert the sub cravings to vietnamese noodle (pho) cravings :)

Sounds like it's diff in each area. Haven't checked the local stores, but in Lexington KY, the deadline was Aug 22.

Subway and their competitors are getting too expensive. I think that $7.17 is too much to pay for a 6" turkey sub with a drink and bag of chips. Expensive food could also be one reason why we aren't as fat as our American counterparts.

$0.40 x 14 = $5.60

Foot long is at least $7 + drink cost.

They rip you off if you don't have full cards. So I still really want 2 stamps. I'll send someone the shipping cost if they want :)

This is the way it should be.

$1.50 Large Drink
$1.25 Chips
$3.00 6 inch sub

$5.75
