best chinese seafood restaurant in markham area

i need some quick help. i'm trying to find a nice place to have crab/lobster in the markham area. i know magic wok is supposed to be good, but i want to have a backup just in case the wait is crazy.

any suggestions?

They sure do! Always a line up during peak hours! Did you know a few of the waiters/waitresses are brothers & sisters? They all look exactly alike! That's what my parents told me. We've been customers there since before they moved from a cramped corner restaurant in Scarborough/downtown area. So long ago!

excellent dim sum- very popular (long wait for a table).

Never ate dinner there. Is dinner at Dragon Dynasty as good as their dim sum?? Thanks for any info.

Went there on the weekend. The crab had absolutely no taste, i think it was frozen crab they used, or just inferior crab. The fresh fish was the smallest fish i've ever seen and eaten. It was tastey but the not worth the price for such a tiny little fish. Sorry.. Ambassador's is not the place to go for seafood

I agree. That newbie probably works there or something. The food went bad after they changed owners, and they started up a new restaurant along 14th Ave (further east than Magic Wok). We used to go there often because my parents got to know the owner and that's why we know this, but then we stopped going and they got shut down I think. :cheesygri

I agree with Ferkel, the seafood at Ambassador is terrible. I went with some friends for a banquet meal....the lobster was unimpressive....it did not taste fresh and they just cooked it with lots of sauce. On the other hand, they do have pretty good dimsum.
