Ahh, Accounting was so easy. Took it both years, got top mark both years. I didn't even bother doing homework at all in Grade 12, especially in that class. You just need to have some basic math skills, as well as common sense.

Calculus
Al/Geo
Data Management
Bio
Physics
Chemistry
lol j/k it's not that hard really. It's totally doable if you're not the slacking type. The good thing about it is that it basically gets you into any science, engineering, math, and probably just about any program in Social Sciences and etc. (assuming you have the marks). It might be a bit harder than alotta of other schedule types but on the bright side, you get extra time to decide what program is for you. I personally found Data Management fun. I was told Calculus was really hard but looking back it was the easier one of the maths. Al/Geo is the most difficult thing to grasp imo because it's very spatial orientated and lots of proofs. Bio is definitely memorization of alotta term plus you should take Chemistry if you take Bio b/c of Organic Chemistry (you will hate it ... hardest of all chemistry branches). Physics was also fun for me (I always wondered how many bullets I can spray with a MP5 while I am accelerating at a rate of 5 m/s with police chasing me and accelerating at 8 m/s ... ahh I give up ... u get the point :P). Chemistry was okay ... Compliments Physics at the Micro-level (as in atomic behavior and quantum theory) and Bio very well.
Plus English ... b/c you need that to finish High School. ;) in the GTA anyways. Umm take a spare if you can. Or get a booster course that'll boost up your average. I took Computer Science ... sorta easy for me cuz I got like 94% w/o studying for any of the tests and finals in Gr. 11. Probably would got 98% if I actually cared and didn't get 80% on the final (Maybe b/c I was sorta cocky and walked in the exam and sat down and finished it in like 1/2 hr :P). It helped me with 1st year Computer Science (I had a good teacher that actually taught us a lot) to the point of where I didn't have to really go to any of the computer science classes (which led to me skipping alot) lol. I don't recommend that on the other hand and definitely woulda attended all my classes if I had the chance to go through Year I again.

how's accounting 11?
Easiest class ever. I got a 91 without trying in that class. In grade 12, I got a 91 as well but this time I had to try. But then again, I did have a very good teacher. Most think he is the best teacher in the school. Half the time, the class wasn't about accounting. He would talk about current events and other interesting stuff.
Anyway, I'm staying for an extra semester. Right now my schedule has:
Economics (U)
International Business (M)
Information Technology
But I'm going to try to change it on registration day to:
Calculus (U)
International Business (M)
Food and Nutrition (M)

You should have taken it in summer school. SO easy. I got an 82 without trying. If I had actually studied for the exam, I would have had above 85.

I heard that night school is easier? Is it... i wanted to take Calculus in the TDSB night school, but I'm not sure if its worth it, as opposed to doing it in regular day school. Also, is economics (12U) easy, I heard it was a good mark booster, but not sure.

Organic Chemistry (you will hate it ... hardest of all chemistry branches).
Hahaha, I've never heard that term before but that's absolutely hilarious.
And in terms of suffering through organic chem in high school, unless your teacher was crazy like mine, you have no idea. Wait until you take it in university - so tedious, so boring, so much to remember.

Grade 10 was a good year, but I think I had the most fun in Grade 12. You're older and can do more, both in and out of school. Don't worry, time will fly when you get older (esp in college/university years), and it sucks (minus becoming legal). Just enjoy hs while you're still there! You just start to feel old afterwards :S.

Eng 11 <- Waste of time.
English is NOT a waste of time. You need good english skills (oral and written) in most professions. When you're in university, you'll be glad you learned how to write properly back in high school, or you'll suffer then. Additionally, I think any well educated person, regardless of major, should know how to write well.

If your university requires calculus as a prereq. then try to take calculus during the school year because you will generally get a higher mark that way. Calculus can be difficult if you dont remember some of its formulas. My teacher told me that Discrete math was the hardest math in High school :|

hey im gonna go to ay jackson and they have a funky schedule.
i have a period one spare in the first semester, but i didnt know that they are like day 1, day 2 / semestered.
its weird, like one day, youd have math first period, and english second.
the next you have english first, and math second period. and you'd finish these courses in one semester
so instead of comin in late everyday, sometimes i get period 2 spare, so my lunch is gonna be friggen 2 hours and a half.
its crazy!
