Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows where to get the best deals on beds or mattresses for ppl going away for school. I checked out sleep country and they're having their mix and match sale which sells like full size Sela and Serta beds for bout 700$. Just wondering if anyone knows any better ones.

Not sure, but when I bought mine last year I found the small shops usually have the lowest prices. Much cheaper than Sears, The Bay, and all the usual stores. I purchase a Queen size Simmons Beauty Rest adjustable bed. :)

which area?
Look for an independant dealer for a bed, their markup usually isn't as high and you still get the warranty and such, my dad is one in Edmonton.

I`m looking for one ideally in London, Ontario or that delivers to London though I'm living in Toronto right now for the next few weeks. Does anyone know of any?

So you're just looking for a temporary mattress? If you don't mind used, i'm sure some people here could offer their old stuff for cheap. You'll need to state what size you're looking for though. My sister had one a while back, but sold it to another student through her university buy/sell site.

Can you provide any more details regarding the bed, retailer and price? TIA, I'm in the hunt for one myself.

I am looking for a king sized (possibly queen) mattress right now.
I went to Sleep Country and the mattress that I liked the most costs $2547, it is the Royal Majestic Body Contour or something like that, it is a pillowtop that is soft on top and a bit firm underneath. The mix and match sale would save me $500 . . . but two thousand bucks for a mattress doesn't excite me.
I went to Costco and checked out their mattress pricing, and they have a Sealy Posturepedic Brentwood Pillowtop, king sized, for $1469, and $1069 bucks for a queen.
I want to go to Sleep Country to check comparable mattresses out, as I did not try out a comparable Sealy model, I believe.
Here is the link to the Costco.ca listing, which is another way to order this mattress . . . it looks like a very good deal at this point, but I have to go try it out before I buy. One nice thing for a lot of people is that they deliver within 48KM of any Costco warehouse for free.

I am interested in what people think about this, please provide feedback!

Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know I've spent the day shopping for mattresses and so far Sleep country has offered the best deals due to their mix and match sale which is going on right now, plus they have a price matching system which will beat any other price by 5%. Let me know if anyone has any better stores or suggestions.
