I need some help. I got a new laptop hdd for my Xs Drive, a 40 GB.
I installed it the Xs drive case and hooked it up to my computer via the usb connection and formatted it via computer management. Fine.. But when i go to transfer my memory card it does not work. HUH? Anyways, i find out that I must use FAT32 for the drive to work correctly, and not NTFS.
XP Home will only let me format the drive in NTFS because it is over 32 GB.
I have tried the format n: /Fs:fat32, did not work since the drive is 40gb.

How can I get the USB connected 40GB Hdd formatted to FAT32 in XP Home?

I was able to solve my problem.
I found a FREE third party program that formats usb hdds to max capacity in FAT32.
Now my Xs drive works, and show 37.2GB!!
Found it here, if anyone else is interested.
