Don't do it...
I have an electrohome tv that came free with my bed from the brick, TV/DVD free with purchase over $1000, anyhow, the tv is garbage. I have a GE tv that is about 7 years old with a crisper picture.
thats just my 2 cents

virtual flat means the tub is curved, but the encasing glass is flat, which means, it's not really flat, but looks flat... crappy if you ask me :)

what do you think of "Insignia" 20" Curve Screen CRT Tube TV? Future shop has it for $100 now. I need a TV around this price right now. Could anyone recommend some good models? Thanks!

if a TV comes with OSD (on screen display), does that mean it has closed captioning?

I have one, and it works great.
What sort of problems are you having?

That's a very blanketing statement... which have you used?
I have both a TV and a DVD player sitting 5 ft from me, and they're great.
The price is certainly right.
Obviously you aren't going to get top-notch quality for rock-bottom price. THat would be common sense.

If you are in Vancouver for $150 you can buy my Toshiba 20" flatscreen TV. It has component input and a host of other inputs, outputs.

Just a question about your Electrohome TV 20E402. When you try to select channel 24 on the remote do you get channel 24 or channel 4. Looks like my remote is only setup to select channels 1-9! Is that possible?

Best DVD player I ever owned was an Electrohome. EH8181 if I recall correctly. It played every type of disc thrown at it, and I bet it would have played an old 45 vinyl record had I slid it in. This thing played Big Mac beef patties.....no shiit!

All flat screens are like that, the internal glass is curved but made to look flat on the exterior.

If thats not a thread cap .... not sure what one is!
This is NOT a private for sale thread. And this offer only benefits the buyer, he can get a quality TV if buying mine, not interfere with anybody's sale. It also happened many times, I recall. I was also almost certain that the OP is in ONT. but I thought it doesn't matter much so I posted.
This thread supposed NOT to be in this hot deal forum too because it doesn't look like to alert about a hot deal rather than asking opinion about Electrohome 20-in. Virtual Flat TV and then the Insignia 20" Curve Screen CRT Tube TV .
YOUR post qualifies for threadcrapping more than mine. So to answer your question: "If thats not a thread cap .... not sure what one is", IMO your #13 post is.
In your view, I threadcrapped this thread because I interrupted the private continuous discussion between you and other members and you see that only you and other previous posters have the right to bump it unnecessary in the hot deal forum.
The only mistake I made was bumping a Request a Deal thread in a hot deal forum. That's all. You made mistake bumping it many times without knowing it.
You sounded like you are a very good member and understand the rules but infact you are insulting another member for no reasons!!!
Members like you are the least welcome here!!!!
This is the first time I use such hard words, but I had no choice!
Sorry about that, Sir!

There is a Phillips 20" flat (virtually?) screen at Costco for $149.99. I might pick that one up today actually. Seems like a good price. Not sure what Wal-mart has. We just want something decent for a bedroom TV.
