i'm looking for a cooper hockey helmet.....is it the same as CCM model or no ??

also, where in toronto can i buy at and what price will it be ?

is cooper hockey helmut the same as cooper hockey helmet ??

In case it isnt, Cooper and CCM made lots of different helmets, so without knowing exactly which model # you are looking for, this thread is a waste of time.
If you cant get a model #, post a pic, or even name a player who wore it for a long period of time.

Cooper is not produced anymore as it was bought out. Bauer/Nike bought out cooper

CCM is a different company

But you can still get CCM and most chain stores for pretty good prices. Try CTC or Walmart I think they have base models that start at like 49.99.

as a woman, i'm not really a hockey sports fan, so i don't know much...
my little nephew from overseas wanted me to look for a cooper helmet....and i searched around some stores, some websites and decided to post it here in the forums, hoping some people could help out...

There's an old Cooper helmet that is still popular with goalies even though its of course fairly rare...its the SK-2000, and was seen on goalies like Chris Osgood, and players like Messier years ago. Very strong helmet for frontal impact, I know of a few players still using them today, but they would only be available on ebay, as someone mentioned, Cooper Hockey was absorbed many years ago. A couple of Jofa models were also extremely strong but are now so rare its not worth even trying.
Maybe this is why your nephew wants a Cooper in particular?
Otherwise there are great helmets by Nike and Mission, among others.

That's cool. I have a black Cooper SK2000 with a half visor sitting around. Maybe I should sell it on eBay. Now's the time since a lot of people are starting up their beer leagues for the new hockey season.

YUP theere's many improvements for new helmets. I should buy a new one for to replace my beat up model.
