Where to buy a Table Mate for eating while watching TV?

Ok i found out the local "As Seen On TV" stores are selling Table Mate II for $49.99 + tax. Since i wanted the original Table Mate Classic (bigger and more sturdy) I ended up ordering from this place ....

I picked the Medium - Table Mate Classic and it came to $48.98 US shipped to my US forwarding address. Should be another $15 US or so to ship to Canada and possibly duty taxes.

I'm thinking i should have bought the large now .. i just wasn't sure if it was a real Table Mate eventhough i called and they told me it was. I've only heard of the Table Mate Classic and the Table Mate II. Still it's better than the cheap plastic one i have now. Can't wait to get it.

they used to carry thsi thing at CTC. Not sure if they still do but worth a look. it was the tablemate 2 they carried.

Just found out the ShowCase (http://www.tvshowcase.com/) As Seen on TV stores carry this as well (Table Mate II for $39.99). Still waiting for my original Table Mate ... I can hardly wait! :)

Can't you just hold the **** in your hand and put your drink on the coffee table? Or do you need the table for the laptop so you can post "weekly bump" one hour before each show starts?

Surely, you can find a nicer looking table at IKEA.

I know it does look cheap .. but my current table isn't very good for eating while sitting on a couch. It was a cheap $15 one i bought during Staples midnight sale last year i think it was (regular price $20-$30) ... and you can't pull it up to you because of the design (wasn't meant for use with couches like this Table Mate). Anyway if you had one you'd know what i mean.

Canadian Tire will have it although you may want to check out places such as Ikea. My sis may have one or two lying around...if she doesn't want them and you're in Toronto...strike a deal! :)

Yeah maybe i'll check out Canadian Tire just to see how much they're selling it for (since i can use 20% gift cards there). They're actually selling very well according to the As Seen On TV store employees. That's why they were sold out the last couple times i went.
